Known for pushing the boundaries of what a bakery can be, 4 Birds brings a fresh take on handmade pastries. Every cookie, muffin and biscuit is crafted by hand, designed to spark both comfort and curiosity with every bite.

The bakery is owned and operated by local chef Jenna Unrue, whose passion for baking took off the moment she stepped into the industry, and she never looked back. From baking in the back of a hot dog restaurant to moving to different production spaces, Jenna and 4 Birds Bakery is ready for their very first retail location at The Garage.

What is 4 Birds Bakery and What do You Offer?

4 Birds Bakery is a local artisan bakery specializing in sweet and savory baked goods, complemented by a thoughtful coffee and tea program. We offer a variety of sweet and savory goods, as well as hot breakfast items, including cookies, bars, biscuits, English muffins, breakfast wraps and spent grain crackers. We believe there’s something for everyone, with options that also include gluten-free and vegan-friendly selections.  

What is unique about your concept?

We are the place for fresh, handmade treats! Each and every cookie is hand-scooped to perfection, plus we are the only bakery in the city making English muffins and spent grain crackers.

As the only spot in The Garage serving hot breakfast and coffee, we’re aiming to be the go-to for early risers, morning meetings, cookie lovers and tourists craving something handmade – we’ve got you covered! 

When customers visit you at The Garage, what’s one thing they must try?

Of course, everything on our menu is delicious any time of day, but if you’re stopping by in the morning, I definitely recommend starting with one of our homemade muffins, they’re the perfect sweet start. And don’t leave without grabbing a cookie! They’re fresh, warm and irresistible.

How do you think The Garage will help your business?

We’ve been considering a retail location for some time, and when the opportunity to join The Garage came up, we knew we couldn’t pass it up, it just felt right. Its central location, strong sense of community and steady foot traffic from both locals and tourists make it the ideal place to grow, thrive and connect. We’re excited to begin this next chapter surrounded by the energy and support that makes this space so special.
