The Garage Food Hall to Introduce Wine Bar, Cuban Sandwich Shop, South-American Skewers and More

Bottleworks District announces newest food and beverage options for Garage goers

The Garage Food Hall announces today the latest lineup of new tenants opening in 2022, including a wine bar and new concepts from fan favorite tenants like J’s Lobster, Gaucho's Fire and Azucar Morena.

Geronimo Hospitality Group’s very own wine concept, Great Legs Wine Bar, will become the food hall’s first wine bar destination serving signature sips in the heart of The Garage. Great Legs will be The Garage Food Hall’s third 21+ bar concept, following the openings of Hard Truth Distillery and Geronimo’s Axle’s Garage Tap.

Since their openings in January 2021, J’s Lobster, Gaucho's Fire and Azucar Morena have seen tremendous success, allowing them the opportunity to introduce new concepts under the same roof. J’s Lobster founder J. Wolf will debut Palavana Cubano, a Cuban sandwich concept, while the owners of Gaucho’s Fire are opening Sal & Pimenta, a Latin-American skewer spot. The family behind Azucar Morena will open Panadas, an over-the-counter empanada restaurant.

New to The Garage in 2022 is delicatessen, Yamallama, serving up flavorful salads, homemade soups and a selection of deli-style sandwiches on fresh baked bread.

Great Legs plans to open in April, while Paladar, Sal & Pimenta, Panadas and Yamallama are slated for August. Visitors at The Garage will begin to notice signage for these new concepts as construction continues.

“In only one year of operation, The Garage has established itself as an Indianapolis’ staple and go-to destination for gatherings,” said Jeff Whiteman, Chief Operating Officer for Geronimo Hospitality Group. “The response from the city has allowed our tenants to thrive in a mixed-use environment, providing the opportunity for some existing tenants to launch new, first-time concepts. We’re eager to see what’s possible in the next calendar year.”

I'm really excited about the new additions to The Garage Food Hall As someone who loves trying different cuisines, I'm eager to taste the authentic flavors of Cuba and the vibrant skewers from South America. Speaking of sandwiches, does anyone know the subway phone number? I might need to compare these new options with my usual go-to.
